LHH Recruitment Solutions, formerly Accounting Principals, is assisting our client with a Senior Billing Specialist role in Roseville, CA. This role will allow you to challenge yourself and expand your skill set in project billing as you work with a collaborative team. This role is hybrid in office 3 days and work from home 2 days a week.
Some key responsibilities for the role include:
Review of client contracts and completing project billing monthly in accordance with contract specifications.
Review of change orders and requests from clients related to projects in accordance with the contract terms.
Discussing billing, change orders and other project modifications with the Project Manager
Work with project managers to collect timecards in a timely fashion and discuss any timecard adjustments needed.
Payroll process for office staff and union employees in accordance with union and prevailing wage rules. Payroll is issued by the corporate office.
Review and code invoices based on job codes and route for approval by project managers.
Assist with cash application as needed.
Experience needed:
Minimum of 3 years experience with project-based billing.
Deltek is the software used this is a plus.
Advanced Excel is a must and utilized daily to create billing.
Demonstrated expertise with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Minimum of 2 years experience with AP and payroll

Hourly pay $36.00 to $40.00 doe.
