Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

Location: Fort Bend County (near Houston TX area)

Employment Type: Contract: 4 Days

We are looking for Technicians to provide Early Voting and Election Day. Technical Support at Multiple voting locations in the Houston TX area, specifically in Fort Bend County. Technicians will provide onsite support for hardware, software, and networking issues for end users.

All onboarded candidates for our company consists of an application and background check screening process.

Skillset Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience deploying PC/Laptop equipment, peripherals, and various technologies
  • Utilizing data and settings migration, imaging, and application installation
  • Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions and scripts
  • Must be able to work with a team of technicians or act individually to complete service events.
  • Escalating and resolving issues as they arise
  • Individual should understand Statements of Works requirements and recognize cost impacts of operational matters
  • Must have proven customer service background
  • Good communication skills
  • Needs to interact with the Customer Site Contact to prepare site for service delivery
  • Qualified resources should have A+ certification or equivalent skill set - MCP, MCSE, MCSE, CNE or Network+ certification is a plus or certifications in various hardware platforms for servicing hardware issues.
  • Must have reliable vehicle to travel multiple polling sites within the county daily (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • A cell phone with WebEx Communication app installed.
