What you'll do

We are seeking an experienced Azure Analytics Engineer to join the Corporate Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to understand their requirements and develop robust, scalable, and cost-effective analytics solutions.

The day-to-day

  • Design and implement analytics solutions using Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Machine Learning
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data lakes and data warehouses
  • Build and integrate machine learning models and data pipelines into end-to-end analytics solutions
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement data governance, data quality, and data security best practices for analytics solutions
  • Optimize analytics solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, leveraging Azure's cloud-native capabilities
  • Automate and orchestrate analytics workflows using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services
  • Monitor and troubleshoot analytics pipelines and solutions, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure analytics services and technologies, and continuously improve and refine analytics solutions

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in developing analytics solutions, with experience using Microsoft Azure services
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data programming languages
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data integration, and data modeling concepts
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and distributed computing frameworks
  • Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
  • Knowledge of cloud computing principles, including scalability, availability, and cost optimization
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Data Scientist Associate)
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git)
  • Familiarity with corporate ERP systems, i.e. Oracle and SAP.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members

Salary range

$93,300.00 - $162,300.00 / annually
