This role drives operational delivery for product and strategic initiatives across the Security business. you will serve as a trusted advisor to Akamai's Security division. You will work closely with major stakeholders within Product Management, Product Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance organizations.

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $106,500 - $221,000/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). In this role, you will partner closely with leaders within the Security Technology Group. This role drives operational delivery for product and strategic initiatives across the Security business. you will serve as a trusted advisor to Akamai's Security division. You will work closely with major stakeholders within Product Management, Product Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance organizations.
As a Manager Strategy & Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and coaching a team of direct reports from multiple geographies
- Serving as a business partner to the Security division's product teams.
- Making data-informed strategic decisions by performing data analysis, proposing recommendations, and driving actions, enhancing understanding and bridging gaps
- Influencing the business towards proactive and better decision-making and process optimization
- Collaborating with product management to develop and track progress of key performance indicators
- Partnering with relevant cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that market needs are met
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- 8 years of experience in consulting, business operations/strategy, or other analytical role and a Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent
- Experience in product operations including managing a high performing team
- Have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, v-lookup, formatting, etc.)
- Experience with Tableau (or comparable business intelligence tool)
- Use analytical skills to find trends and insights in large datasets and summarize findings for executive reporting
