Overview

The Data Entry Specialist works as part of the Employment and Benefits Team to assist in data entry, mostly related to the implementation of the Refugee Cash Assistance program.

SALARY $24 an hour

Job Skills / Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Documents and records all services related to the Cash Assistance programs through online databases, spreadsheets, and physical files and periodically review documentation for errors.
  • Enters new client information into the Client Track database.
  • Reports to work regularly and on time.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements (Any)

High school diploma or GED; at least two years of work experience preferably with refugees

MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT: telephone, computer, printer, copy machine, calculator, scanner, and shredder.

Education And Experience

High school diploma required. Associate’s Degree and two years of experience in data entry and/or database management preferred.

Specialized Skills And Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and be willing to use personal vehicle in driving to various locations within the service area.
  • Must have proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • The incumbent must be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information she/he encounters.
