Description:

  • The Precision Medicine Pathology team focuses on translational tissue-based biomarker development, target validation, and mechanism of action projects. This role will drive pathology collaborative programs, conduct histopathological evaluations, and provide scientific leadership to support tissue-based studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and validate multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) panels using OPAL or similar technologies.
    • Consider biologic and technical factors in mIF panel design.
    • Optimize mIF panels and scan slides using PhenoImager HT.
    • Perform spectral unmixing with inForm.
  • Conduct digital pathology analysis using.
  • Formulate conclusions and design follow-up experiments based on multidisciplinary data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in a scientific field with 5+ years of related work experience, or a Master s Degree in Science.
  • Familiarity with tissue microscopic anatomy and histology, with knowledge of pathological alterations in disease.
  • Expertise in designing, developing, and validating multiplex mIF assays, scanning mIF slides, and spectral unmixing.
  • Experience in digital image analysis.

Pay range:

$70/hr. - $75/hr.

Work Schedule:

100% onsite based out in South San Francisco
