IT MANAGER - Infrastructure and Cyber Security
FTE Position - FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE!

The Position
The Senior IT Manager is responsible for leading the IT infrastructure and Cybersecurity strategy and execution for the organization. This role directs, organizes and oversees the daily operations of the Infrastructure and Security team and establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards for the team and the organization and identify opportunities for improvement.
The Sr. IT Manager will provide advanced managerial work, communication, project strategy and oversight to ensure activities align with the business objectives including budgeting and providing leadership to the employees.
We are looking for strong leadership and team building skills, in addition to the technical.
Report to Director of IT Infrastructure. This is a highly promotable position. Must be able to travel nationally about 25% of time.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities:
- Direct, oversee and hands-on technical planning and design of IT network infrastructure and cyber security systems.
- Provide daily leadership and management to the Infrastructure and Security teams/department including personnel management functions, budgeting, and controlling expenses, while ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures. (**** In other words, the key to this position is people management for a small team of 2 - 3 people, in addition to strong technical skills)
- Assist the Director of IT and the CIO in drafting goals and objectives, including contributing to the strategic plan; establishing, developing, and approving schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals; performing ongoing planning functions to meet performance targets and improving operations while following division and agency policies and procedures.
- Recommend the selection, design, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of business solutions.
- Expert in the latest cloud infrastructure and security technologies with capabilities to implement and support.
- Work closely with management, application support and staff to assess and respond to infrastructure and security business systems and reporting needs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum ten (10) years hands-on technical management experience leading and maintaining IT network operations and security departments, employees, teams and projects.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Azure over Microsoft technologies, including Azure, DevOps, IT Ops, etc.
- Strong experience improving large corporate organization's Cybersecurity posture (capabilities, processes, controls, etc.) including cybersecurity audits and penetration testing
- Expert in O365 and Microsoft environment.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Endpoint protection and remediation
- Proficient with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
