In this exciting position, you will use your unique talents and make an immediate impact as an Asset Data Manager in San Diego, CA supporting the Program by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of asset data in the Remedy system, collaborating with SYSCOMS, Sustainment and Deployment contractors. This role involves validating asset data, enforcing data standardization rules, generating summary reports, and providing training to the user community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise-wide asset data management, including data auditing and analysis, with a proven ability to develop and present detailed reports.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure asset data in the Remedy system is correct, complete, and consistent with standardization rules.
  • Collaborate with SYSCOMS, Sustainment, and Deployment contractors to manage asset repairs, replacements, removals, and additions.
  • Review PSS Remedy asset reports to validate data completeness and adherence to standards.
  • Validate the Sustainment Contractor s Spot Checks and Asset Data Template submissions.
  • Enforce data standardization rules before uploading data into Remedy.
  • Provide summary reports on Spot Checks and Asset Data Template submissions.
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of data standards.
  • Assess and report on Asset Tagging projects.
  • Follow up with user community on sustainment projects without assets.
  • Provide training to the user community on asset tracking using the PSS A033 template.
  • Purchase, manage, and track all Asset Data Tags for the PSS Program.

Qualifications:

  • Current U.S. DoD Secret Security clearance required and must maintain throughout employment
  • B.A./B.S. Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience in Navy programs.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in enterprise-wide asset data management, including asset standardization, data auditing, and analysis.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; advanced level Excel skills for data analysis and visualization.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience with SharePoint 2010 or later and BMC Remedy ITSM suite version 7.6 or later, including the Asset Management module.
  • Knowledge of CNIC PSS C4I and PSAC systems, assets, projects, and product categorizations is preferred.
