SierTeK Ltd. is seeking an Executive Assistant to support an opportunity at Kirtland AFB, NM. PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE: The Executive Assistant will serve as an Executive Assistant to the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), Phillips Research Site (PRS), RD Director and RD Directorate staff on all administrative and personnel matters within the organization. In addition to secretarial duties (filing, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements), this position will provide administrative support to executive staff with office management responsibilities to include personnel records, calendar management, in addition to any administrative tasks the Front Office staff may require. The Executive Assistant may be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials. Essential Job Functions: Review, evaluate, analyze, and implement higher headquarter guidance in support of the organizational mission. Strategically and proactively manage data and update information retrieved from varied sources. Assist the AFRL customer in performing a variety of executive-level administrative tasks, in support of the day-to-day oversight and management of the RD Directorate by maintaining files, spreadsheets and briefings, preparing various types of documentation, tracking suspense's, scheduling meetings, managing TDY requests and coordination, supporting meetings held by the Director and staff (with some requiring preparation of briefing materials, and taking notes/minutes from the meeting), and other within scope activities as required by the front office staff. Provide data entry, retrieval and management support while providing assistance to Directorate and technical staff. Type routine correspondence and reports, using a personal computer, and operate office equipment such as photocopier, fax machine, scanner. The Executive Assistant should be familiar with the normal operations of video teleconferencing tools/applications such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Answering phones, reviewing calls and requests for meetings with the front office staff, maintaining schedules for the front office staff, greeting visitors as well as coordinating visits to the Directorate front office. Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of administrative expertise; preferably in a Department of Defense environment or equivalent setting (executive level experience a plus). Skilled in all standard Microsoft Office computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Knowledge and experience with Share Point. Possess extensive organizational skills, highly skilled in oral and written communication and the ability to work independently with little to no daily management oversight.
