  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Vista Global Solutions, LLC (VGS) is hiring a Business Analyst to support a military command in San Antonio, TX. This position requires a completed DoD background check within the last 24 months.

The Business Analyst will be critical in supporting the business and the Product/Project Manager by providing strategic insights, managing requirements, and overseeing product/project delivery. This individual will work closely with the Product/Project manager and cross-functional teams to assist with analysis of business needs, facilitation of solution implementation and sustainment, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. The Business Analyst will also assist with project management duties, such as planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder communication, documentation development, and presenting status updates and briefs to various levels of leadership.

Desired Skills

  • Project Management Skills: Experience assisting with or leading project management tasks such as scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and tracking project deliverables.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex business problems, synthesize information, and recommend solutions that align with project goals and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders, ensuring alignment between project objectives and business needs.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations, present ideas, and deliver clear project updates.
  • Leadership and Oversight: Proven experience in guiding projects to successful completion, managing tasks, timelines, and junior team members.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying project challenges, exploring alternatives, and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally, supporting the Product/Project Manager while aligning business and technical teams around a shared project vision.
  • Documentation Development: Expertise in creating clear, detailed, and structured documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and project reports. Ability to ensure documentation is comprehensive, accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and regularly updated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Must have an active DoD Background Check within the last 24 months.

Bonus Desires:

  • SAFe Agile Framework: Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including knowledge of SAFe principles, roles, and ceremonies. Experience working in a SAFe environment is a plus, though not mandatory, as training can be provided.
  • Already have an active DoD or DHA CAC.
