JOB DESCRIPTION

The Glow Natural Wellness team is looking for a data-driven, people-oriented COO, with a proven track record scaling Operations within the high-end service industry. The COO is responsible for optimizing the team’s day-to-day execution across the business.

The COO’s goal is to make the company operate as smoothly and efficiently as possible. The COO leads major company initiatives, and supports the team while also holding them accountable. The application code word is EMPOWER. The COO is a highly skilled strategic thinker, always looking ahead to where the company is going and what it is going to need to continue scaling. They anticipate and solve problems in a self-directed way. They empower and build a team around them to move fast while maintaining culture and quality.

The COO manages a team of 50, and is responsible for company-wide team engagement and cultural cohesion. They leverage data to consistently challenge the status quo, and create ever-improving team performance. They bring technical mastery, as well as an intrinsic process and systems lens to how work gets done from the leadership level all the way down.

This role will lead Glow Natural Wellness through a pivotal moment of strategically optimizing a strong existing product to generate higher ROI for clients, with wider margins for the company.

Relocation to Panama City Beach, FL is desired, however remote applicants will be considered in this process.

This is a critical position within the business, as such, we host a rigorous, 4-part application process.

RESPONSIBILITIES (TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE):

  • This position will work very closely with the CEO to actualize their vision and facilitate contributions to the day-to-day team/organization.
  • Recruit, manage, promote, and train a high-performance. Manage evolving org chart and team culture to realize the company goals.
  • Lead company towards consistent, predictable outcomes in product delivery and performance via key strategic initiatives.
  • Evolve company-wide communication infrastructure, facilitating meetings, and systemizing strategic clarity and transparency.
  • Oversee and optimize company P/L, with key focus on preserving profit margin through the next chapter of growth.
  • Standardize internal workflows to support the team for maximum efficiency and success in their roles.
  • Lead by example – be the embodiment of white glove ethos in team leadership, culture, and product delivery.

REQUIREMENTS (EXPECTED PROFICIENCIES):

  • Experience in maximizing team productivity, and creating processes for internal growth/promotion
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time-management and organizational skills. Team bedrock – able to provide a strong, stable foundation to support team as a source of information, decision-making, problem-solving, and goal-setting
  • High follow-through – willing and able to see projects through to a point of minimum viable launch, then iterate through data.
  • Self-starter -- you are comfortable managing your schedule, your team, and meeting deadlines without direct supervision.
  • Strong manager – you are fulfilled by building and leading a team. You pride yourself in your ability to encourage the best performance from people, earning their buy-in and trust. You are constantly seeking to grow and improve your leadership abilities.
  • Candid and direct communicator, with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English. Strong change management skills.
  • Highly resourceful, a natural problem-solver who loves learning new things.
  • Data-Driven – you are able to analyze data and make critical decisions based on the data collected & build data dashboard framework

  • Onboarding will start with a two week in person with the CEO in Panama City Beach, FL.
