Job Title: IT Plant Maintenance Technical SME

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced IT Plant Maintenance Technical SME to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance and a variety of other platforms and applications relevant to plant management, asset management, and project deployment in the highways and facilities sector. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with the key technologies listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, review, analyze, design, configure, test, and deploy IT applications supporting new highways and facilities projects.
  • Provide expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance and SAP Work Manager mobile applications.
  • Work with Agile Assets including systems for Sign, Pavement, and Tunnel Management.
  • Utilize the Pontis Bridge Management System (BrM) for asset management.
  • Manage fuel systems using Gasboy and EKOS platforms.
  • Develop and maintain applications using MS Azure DevOps for project coordination.
  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
  • Collaborate with teams and external vendors to oversee project developments, providing technical guidance throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Perform troubleshooting, unit testing, and QA testing to ensure smooth project implementations.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation and provide estimates for any required changes.
  • Ensure seamless project tracking using ServiceNow.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and status updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the following applications and platforms:
    • SAP Plant Maintenance
    • SAP Work Manager mobile application
    • OnBase document management system
    • Agile Assets: Sign, Pavement, and Tunnel Management
    • Pontis Bridge Management System (BrM)
    • Gasboy Fuel Management System
    • EKOS Fuel Management System
    • MS Azure DevOps
  • Strong experience in developing and deploying enterprise-level applications.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relations.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with custom Bridge Assessment Systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for issue tracking and project management.
