Job Title: .NET Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Architect with 12+ years of experience, specialized in designing cloud-native solutions using the latest technologies. This role requires expertise in the latest three versions of .NET, SQL Server, and IIS, alongside strong knowledge of Azure cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and architecture of cloud-native applications using .NET 6.0 and above, and ensuring integration with Azure services.
  • Azure Decision Making: Make strategic decisions regarding the use of Azure technologies, aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Cloud Strategy: Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies using Microsoft Azure, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with development teams to define requirements and design solutions, leveraging Azure and the latest .NET, SQL Server, and IIS technologies.
  • Application Modernization: Lead the migration and modernization of legacy systems to Azure, utilizing the latest versions of .NET, SQL Server, and IIS.
  • Azure DevOps Leadership: Define CI/CD strategies, automate deployments, and manage infrastructure using Azure DevOps.
  • System Quality: Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and performance, adhering to best practices.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor development teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Technology Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest technologies, including .NET, SQL Server, IIS, and Azure services.

Key Technologies:

  • .NET: .NET 6.0 and above
  • SQL Server: SQL Server 2019/SQL Server 2022, SQL Server Azure Editions
  • IIS: IIS 10.x, IIS on Azure

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive experience with .NET Core/.NET Framework, specifically versions 6.0 or above
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2019 or 2022, and Azure editions).
  • Expertise with IIS (versions 10.x, and IIS on Azure).
  • Proficiency in microservices architecture, APIs, and serverless computing.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Expertise in Azure infrastructure management (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and AKS.

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Proven ability to make strategic decisions on Azure and cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring teams and driving collaboration.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of total experience in software development, with a focus on .NET and Azure.
  • 3+ years of cloud architecture experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Azure Certified Architect certification is preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with security best practices (OAuth, Azure AD).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
