Job Title: UX Researcher specializing in voice, video, and collaboration technologies
Duties: As a UX Researcher specializing in voice, video, and collaboration technologies, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, identify pain points, and drive improvements in the user experience. You will utilize a range of research methodologies to gather insights and inform design decisions, with a focus on technologies such as Cisco, Avaya, Webex, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office 365, Confluence, and Knowledge Xchange
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and preferences related to voice, video, and collaboration technologies.
Plan and execute a variety of research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiry.
Analyze research findings and distill actionable insights to inform product strategy and design.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback.
Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring that user needs are addressed effectively.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in UX research and voice/video technologies.
Foster a culture of user-centric design within the organization, promoting empathy and understanding for our users.
Skills:
3+ years of experience in UX research, with a focus on voice, video, or collaboration technologies.
Strong understanding of research methodologies and best practices, with hands-on experience conducting user research studies.
Proficiency in tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Webex for remote research sessions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field.
