Position: Camunda Developer
Location: USA (Remote)

Job Description:

Both roles require a strong understanding of Camunda 8, Microservices architectures, containerization, cloud services (particularly Azure and AKS), and modern DevOps practices. They should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and address the challenges that may arise in a dynamic enterprise environment.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and process owners regarding the Camunda platform during local business hours.
  • Collaborate with development teams to onboard new processes, providing expertise in BPMN modeling.
  • Ensure the platform's operational health, including proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to safeguard the multi-tenant environment.
  • Facilitate communication between offshore support and local teams, coordinating activities and ensuring smooth handovers.
  • Oversee deployment strategies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for process applications.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote best practices in process orchestration on Camunda, workflow automation and BPMN flows.
  • Participate in incident response during local business hours, acting swiftly to resolve production issues.
  • Manage platform upgrades and patches, coordinating with the Camunda platform consultants and offshore team to minimize downtime.
  • Document platform configurations, processes, and customizations specific Insight Prospective Services enterprise environment.
  • Provide round-the-clock support (between USA and India) for the Camunda platform, ensuring high availability and addressing issues during non-local business hours.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of automation scripts and tools to streamline platform operations.
  • Manage the Camunda platform's infrastructure, including backup, scaling, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of knowledge base articles, FAQs, and operational runbooks.
  • Implement and manage integrations with other Azure services and external systems as needed.
  • Assist engineering teams in capacity planning and resource management to handle the projected volume of process instances.
