We are seeking a skilled Data Specialist to join our clients team team, focusing on data cleansing, validation, and enrichment within the ServiceNow environment. The role involves analyzing and rectifying data inconsistencies, developing quality checks, supporting data migration projects, and enhancing data completeness. responsibilities:



  • Data cleansing and normalization: Analyze existing ServiceNow data to identify and rectify inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors across various tables and fields.
  • Data validation: Develop and implement data quality checks and validation rules to ensure data accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Data enrichment: Enhance existing data by researching and integrating missing information from reliable sources to improve data completeness.
  • Data migration support: Assist with data migration projects, ensuring data integrity during the transfer process and validating data after migration.
  • Documentation and reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of data remediation activities, including identified issues, corrective actions taken, and validation results. Regularly report on the progress of data remediation efforts to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and communication: Collaborate effectively with ServiceNow administrators, process owners, and end-users to understand data issues, gather requirements, and communicate remediation plans.

Qualifications:




  • Proven experience in a data-focused role with a strong emphasis on data cleansing, validation, and remediation.
  • Hands-on experience working with ServiceNow, specifically in identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using data manipulation tools and techniques, including data import/export, data transformation, and scripting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
