SAP EWM Consultant

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM implementation and configuration.
• At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP EWM, preferably in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Experience in integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities such as inbound/outbound processing, RF Framework, storage control, physical inventory, and warehouse monitoring.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and its impact on EWM configurations.
• Proficiency in EWM integration with third-party logistics systems.
• Experience with ABAP debugging, and enhancement is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions within the SAP S/4HANA framework.
• Configure SAP EWM modules to meet business process requirements and optimize warehouse operations.
  Ensure the integration of EWM with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and external systems.
  Business Process Alignment:
• Work with business stakeholders to understand warehouse and logistics processes and translate them into functional requirements.
• Propose best practices and optimizations for warehouse management in alignment with SAP EWM capabilities.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for EWM-related processes.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure accurate testing and validation of EWM configurations.
• Conduct end-user training sessions to facilitate a smooth transition to the SAP S/4HANA system, focusing on EWM functionalities.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to EWM.
• Actively participate in project meetings, providing insights into EWM capabilities and limitations.
• Collaborate with other SAP module consultants, developers, and external partners to ensure seamless integration.
• Document all aspects of the project, including configurations, customizations, and process flows.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in the warehouse and distribution network, leveraging SAP EWM s advanced features (e.g., labor management, yard management, slotting, etc.).
• Stay up to date with SAP EWM and S/4HANA enhancements and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.
