Fortinet Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Microsoft Systems Engineering.
• Proficiency in Active Directory.
• Experience with Group Policy Object management.
• Experience in NTFS and Share permissions.
• Experience with Print, File, and Member Servers.
• Experience in Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022.
• Experience with Hyper-V (Virtual Servers).
• Proficiency in FortiAPs (wi-fi) and Forti Manager.
• Experience with Forti Analyzer and Forti Authenticator.
• Experience in Forti Mail (SPAM filtering) and Forti SIEM.
• Strong Communication Skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage FortiGate routers and FortiSwitches.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to users, resolving hardware and software issues.
• Assist with system setup, configuration, and deployment of desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices.
• Maintain and update operating systems, software, and firmware.
• Apply security patches and software updates regularly.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity and VPN problems.
• Configure and manage network devices like printers, scanners, and shared drives.
• Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to ensure stable network and internet access.
