Job Description:

The Sr. Azure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Intune solutions, for migration from MECM and Entra hybrid-joined devices to Entra-joined and Intune Managed. They will develop Intune policies, configurations and remediations. Work closely with cross-functional teams, to architect and deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement Microsoft Intune solutions that meet business, security and end user requirements.

Create and manage Intune policies for application deployment, device compliance, and security configurations.

Ensure seamless integration with other Microsoft 365 services.

Windows OS Provisioning: Design and deploy Windows OS provisioning processes using Intune Autopilot.

Configure and manage Windows Update for Business policies.

Develop and maintain standardized Windows OS deployments images.

Intune Device Configuration: Creation and management of Intune configuration policies, including templates, settings catalog, ADMX imports, scripts and remediations.

Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance policies within Intune.

Monitor and respond to security incidents related to mobile devices and endpoints.

Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation of Intune configurations, Windows provisioning processes, and Group Policy settings.

Automation: Where possible, strive to automate repetitive tasks, functions and processes to eliminate manual work or chance for error.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training.

5+ years total work experience in designing and implementing Microsoft Intune solutions.

Expertise in MECM and Intune.

Proficient in PowerShell, REST and MS Graph.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, a strong analytical ability.

Experience with modern endpoint management tools and utilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Intune Expert
