Position Description:

As an analog design engineer intern in in Micron's ASIC analog design team, you will assist analog engineers in the design the next generation of Micron's internally developed tester ASICs and memory controller IP. The ideal candidate will be a curious driven individual looking to break into the high-speed analog design industry.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Be part of a highly skilled, high-speed PHY design team working on deep sub-micron technology nodes.
  • Assist full time engineers in the development of analog cells such as current mirrors, op amps, bandgaps, CMOS/CML logic.
  • Comfortable presenting complex engineering ideas to other members of the design team.


SKILLS required:
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of analog mixed signal design in advanced CMOS and FinFet technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Fundamental knowledge of typical analog sub-blocks like current mirrors, op amps, LDOs, CMOS/CML logic, PLL, DLL, CDR, PI, high-speed datapath, transmitter front end, or TX/CTLE/DFE equalization.
  • Candidate should have deep understanding of analog and mixed signal circuits.
  • Experience with industry standard tools such as Cadence ADE, Spectre, AMS verification, EM/IR flows, MATLAB, Calibre, etc a plus.
  • Candidate should be curious and always looking to contribute, learn, and grow.


Qualifications:
  • Working towards B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
