SAP S4 Transportation Management

6 month with probable extension

Direct client is looking for an SAP S4 Transportation Management consultant for a 6 month + contract. The ideal candidate must report onsite 3-4 days per week.

Required

• Minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience with SAP TM.

• At least 1-2 full lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA TM (Embedded) implementation projects.

• Experience with configuration in the area of Logistics Execution, Shipment document types, Transportation planning and shipments- individual/collective, transportation planning point, transportation chain, Shipment cost documents, Shipment cost item categories

• Experience with writing functional specifications and worked with ABAP and PI teams to implement the solution

• Very good understanding of Logistics Integration with FI and MM

• Experience with third party logistics interfaces (TMS, Bourque, EDI 410, EDI 404) and working knowledge with 3rd party vendors

• Experiences on multiple full life-cycle SAP program initiatives

• Good understanding of Inter/Intra company process related to transportation

• Experience with working on SAP output forms on both delivery and Shipment documents (Ex: BOL, Proforma,CCI etc)

• Experience with the implementation of transportation modules for Barge and Vessel movements

• Experience with Basic TM and integration with Third Party Applications (Kewill, Bourque etc)

• Experience with BRF+ or other rule-building tools within SAP TM is a plus.

• Experience with Logistics pricing is a major plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, configure, design, and implement SAP TM solutions according to the organization's unique business requirements.

• Provide subject matter expertise on SAP TM modules such as Order Management, Planning, Freight Execution, Charge Calculation, and Settlement.

• Design and execute seamless integrations between SAP TM, SAP EWM, and any relevant third-party Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP TM configuration and integration issues.

• Conduct data analysis and process optimization, maximizing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of logistics operations.

• Support the migration of transportation management processes to the new SAP S/4 HANA environment.

• To be able to work on support tickets related to transportation

• To be able to work independently and self-sufficient

• Experience with Data conversion and cutover activities

• Providing the Analysis and Design Process and its associated documentation - Technical, functional specification, Test Plans.
