What you'll be doing...
The Executive Briefing Senior Manager serves as a knowledgeable architect committed to creating and executing world-class experiences that meet the goals of both customers and Verizon hosts to ultimately drive strategic business wins. The Executive Briefing Senior Manager must understand the needs of Verizon Business customers and prospects, and how our solutions can generate revenue, improve efficiencies, and enable opportunity while combatting prevalent adoption challenges. The Executive Briefing Senior Manager will articulate technology strategy; understand evolving trends; and confidently articulate the Verizon value proposition and appropriate delivery models.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales Teams to determine and create strategy for customer briefings, consult with sales team and business units to understand the business strategies, account team objectives, and customer business plan in order to secure discussion leader support and develop strategic customer facing briefing content.
  • Maintain expertise in Verizon products, services and technology to ensure the proper strategy for briefings. Develop and foster relationships cross-organizationally including technology/networking teams, product/marketing organizations and executive management to identify customer needs and business evaluation trends.
  • Set expectations with the sales team lead and hold them accountable for the required joint work (actions and deadlines) leading to a successful executive briefing.
  • Be responsible for the development of strategic agendas and determining which solutions, content and topics are presented to customers during briefings ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Report on customer feedback providing a closed-loop communication back to sales, product and key stakeholders to drive improved product offerings and customer loyalty.
  • Assess and manage their briefing funnel autonomously. This includes strategic content planning and management of the final execution.


What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience with in person and hybrid executive briefings or events
  • Problem-solving skills with knowledge of business needs and how technology delivers business results
  • Experience managing planning timelines, stakeholder expectations and communications, executive engagement, and the successful execution of world class customer experiences

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • MBA
  • B2B experience
  • Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relations across highly matrixed teams and stakeholders
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs and/or high value executive briefings
  • Presentation, writing and editorial skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Proficiency in both Microsoft & Google Suites, Adobe and online web sharing tools (Webex, Microsoft Teams)
  • Experience with content management tools (Infomanager)

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
