Are you a seasoned finance executive looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity to lead strategic financial planning and operations? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Finance / CFO to join our team in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you will oversee all financial activities, provide strategic direction, and ensure the financial health of the company, all while enjoying a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to inform long-term strategy and business decisions.
  • Oversee cash flow management, financial risk assessment, and capital investments.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Provide leadership in accounting, tax planning, and financial systems optimization.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics to assess the company’s financial operations and performance.
  • Manage relationships with external financial partners, including auditors, banks, and investors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role (VP, CFO, etc.), ideally within mid-sized companies.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; MBA or CPA designation is strongly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
