Salary Range: $92,000 – $103,000 per year

Compensation Package: Includes potential annual bonus and equity

Our client is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Professional to join their growing team. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to manage essential accounting functions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

As a member of our client’s dynamic team, you will manage essential accounting operations, including full-cycle AP, credit card reconciliations, and software implementations. This high-impact role is perfect for an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to a fast-growing company in a hybrid work environment.

~ What You’ll Do as an Accounts Payable Specialist ~

  • Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of payments.
  • Handle monthly credit card reconciliations and coding.
  • Process invoices, perform two-way and three-way matching, and monitor approvals for payment processing.
  • Reconcile the accounts payable, general ledger and other assigned accounts.
  • Assist with the implementation and upgrades of accounting software, including procurement, expense, and payment systems.
  • Process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily payables and receipts.
  • Assist in year-end 1099 filings and other compliance reporting.

~ What You’ll Bring to the Accounts Payable Role ~

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within a public company setting.
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of transactions (1000+ invoices per month) with attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite software is highly desirable.
  • Experience with credit card transactions and Concur expense reporting systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
