Time Clerk

In the Los Angeles area, Parsec provides services at the BNSF Terminal in Commerce, CA. Parsec operates 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

Time Clerk

Los Angeles, CA

Pay: $20.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Tuesday thru Saturday

Off Days: Sunday and Monday

• Mandatory Overtime as needed.
  
  
  

Shift Time:

• 11pm to 7:30am
  
  
  

Summary:

In this position, the clerk should be able to work well independently and under time restraints for information vital to the operations team. Must be proficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. Can work with a diverse group of employees taking calls, receiving paperwork, and answering questions regarding the day-to-day operations at the facility.

• Answering telephone calls & employee requests
• Handling correction slips along with other office-related duties
• Providing excellent customer service
• Performing a variety of data entry and computing tasks
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Able to work well independently and under time restraints for information vital to the operations team
• Sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer station
• Regular and consistent attendance is required
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Must comply with established safety rules, policies, and procedures, including wearing required safety equipment
• Documented successful completion of lawful post-offer, pre-employment checks including criminal background check and drug screening.
