Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Contract: W2 only

Requirements:

• Minimum of 9 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role, emphasizing the maintenance of highly available and scalable systems.
• Proficient in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby, Go) for automation and tooling.
• Extensive expertise in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
• Thorough understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mastery in Linux/Unix system administration and solid grasp of networking concepts.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, Splunk) and distributed tracing frameworks (e.g., Jaeger, Zipkin).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, demonstrating effectiveness in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer).
• Background in infrastructure resilience testing, chaos engineering, and implementing fault tolerance strategies.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in production environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with configuration management using GitOps principles.
• Previous involvement in a leadership or mentorship role.
