The Operations Training Coordinator will facilitate a training program for protective operations agents supporting executive protection and residential security teams. This role will support and conduct initial, sustainment, and advanced training on a wide range of protection and emergency response topics. By the Direction of company leadership, the Operations Training Coordinator will be required to work independently on projects and regularly interface with clients to handle various deliverables.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating and implementing an internal training program for Keelson Strategic protection teams nationwide.
- Document standards and operating procedures for a new agent training program.
- Coordinate training in the following areas: close protection, residential security, emergency response tactics, travel/logistics coordination, firearms and marksmanship, defensive tactics, basic/emergency medical interventions, and other security topics.
- Create, plan, and execute a detailed training schedule.
- Establish relationships with training venues and suppliers and coordinate favorable contracts/agreements to facilitate long-term training goals.
- Create a platform to track both individual and programmatic milestones.
- Manage multiple budgets, invoicing, and forecasting platforms to maximize financial efficiencies.
- Proactively manage multiple schedules to prioritize conflicting needs and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Evaluate team members and training staff performance during training and development events.
- Frequent local travel as required (30%+).
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the protective services industry, law enforcement, and military, with at least three years supporting Executive level clients.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with minimal error.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making.
- Professional appearance and demeanor displaying emotional maturity.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects. Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.

- Strong organizational skills for physical and administrative tasks.
- Able to work irregular or extended hours (if necessary).
- Consistent use of computers and phones, perform desk-based computer tasks and grasp light/fine manipulation.
- Able to regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands/manual dexterity, reach or stretch, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; speak or hear.
- Able to frequently climb or balance.
- Able to occasionally run or sprint.
- Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precarious places; exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; work with explosives and vibration.
