Job Title: Cyber Architecture Lead (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the cybersecurity architecture framework aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Assess and enhance existing security architectures to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into all phases of software development and system design.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify potential security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cybersecurity and IT teams, fostering a culture of security awareness.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity to inform architecture decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements for new projects and initiatives.
  • Create and deliver presentations and reports on security architecture strategies and progress to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in cybersecurity architecture, engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing security architectures for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Proficiency in security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, identity and access management, and encryption technologies.
  • Experience in secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, TOGAF) are highly desirable.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
