Event Coordinator, Capital Formation Group

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating prospective and current investor conferences and events, both in-person and virtual, for the capital raising team.
  • This role is heavily focused on event logistics including invitation lists, investor communication, registration, attendee tracking, pre and post event statistics, budgets, and other related event management tasks.
  • Heavy systems management (eg. Salesforce, Cvent, Zoom Webinar, and other event management tools and software)
  • Work with management to assist with location selection, contracts, budgets and overall vision of event
  • Coordinate firm attendance at third party conferences and manage meeting schedules to ensure success and maximum impact
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution
  • Flexibility to work overtime during coordination, meetings and events (both on and offsite) as events can occur before or after normal business hours
  • Travel to outside offices or other cities to support events when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in a similar role at an investment manager, event management within a corporate setting, or systems/reporting role with an interest in events
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Thrives in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize among many time-sensitive demands
  • Positive attitude and team player with the ability to forge relationships across the firm
  • Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels, both internally and with clients
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficient in Cvent, Salesforce, Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint)

The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $60,000 and $70,000.

The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
