We are helping our leading video game developer and publisher client hire a Global Media Coordinator. The core responsibilities are to support the aggregation of Global and Regional media to the Global Content Platform, and to ensure integrity and metadata accuracy of the content.

This position will be responsible for ensuring that metadata is "tagged" onto media entering our library in a timely manner by overseeing a team of full-time and freelance contributors that perform daily tagging operations. On an ongoing basis, the Global Media Coordinator may be in charge of day-to-day coordination with operators, producers and users of the Global Content Platform.

Finally, the Global Media Coordinator will support the GCO structure through monitoring, processing, reporting, tracking and escalation of support requests, as well as documentation of processes and bugs that may be identified within the systems.

The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work well under tight deadlines, with the capacity to work across several teams to continually help users, document processes, and represent team feedback for software and hardware improvements.

This candidate should have demonstrated the ability to thrive in detail-oriented and, at times, repetitive tasks, and to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily ingests to the MAM; troubleshoot problem files.
  • Build relationships with regional counterparts and partners.
  • Enhance metadata on ingested assets in order to improve content identifiability.
  • Monitor and guide content tagging operations performed by various regional teams and contributors.
  • Respond to user requests for assistance with the Global Content Platform. These duties are directly related to essential operations, safety, trust, and compliance obligations at the Games. Please note that job duties may evolve based on business needs and additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to maintain operational efficiency and security.
  • Coordinate ongoing daily content operations for assigned Business Units
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing for new processes and workflows
  • Assist Media Asset Managers with the production of system documentation
  • Support general system monitoring, bug reporting and tracking

Qualifications

  • 2 years of Asset Management exposure
  • Effective interpersonal skills; good judgment and ability to interact with different levels of management and teams
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about troubleshooting issues, exploring and experimenting new methods
  • Self-driven; Self-starter with a habit for taking initiative
  • Working knowledge of main broadcast and digital video and audio formats
  • Experience with Iconik MAM service preferred
  • Familiarity with video and image editing platforms, specifically Adobe CC products
  • Preferred: Basic knowledge of XML and JSON
  • Passion about Esports.
