The team is responsible for build strategic components used to process trades from the front office trade booking systems by validating, enriching the trades with the required reference data including settlement instructions and routing them to various settlement systems based on asset class.

To be successful as a Business Analyst, you should have experience with:
  • To be successful in this role you'll need experience of in Business Analysis for Investment Banking Capital Markets Domain
  • To thrive in this role you'll need some previous experience in Data modelling in IB Domain, Capital Markets across Securities, OTC and Derivatives products
  • Key skills required for this role include data attributes used to define various data models like Trades, Securities Positions and Cash, Margin, Asset servicing, Confirms
  • Experience in Operations across front, middle or back office data
  • Experience running SQL Query and data/log analysis


Some other highly valued skills may include:
  • Additional skills include problem solving skills to review system and operational issues and provide a solution by working across various teams.
  • Experience working in various Settlements and Sub ledger functions like PNS, Stock Record and Settlements, PnL
  • Knowledge in BPS, IMPACT & Gloss products from Broadridge
  • Ability to write python code to analyze data and logs to gain insights from production data.
  • Having operations background is a plus.

Purpose of the role

To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

Accountabilities
  • Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
  • Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
