Position Description

Under the supervision of the Digital Content Manager , the Videographer will primarily be responsible for communicating Burn Boot Camp’s mission and value proposition through video and will support photo content. The team member should have in-depth knowledge of filmmaking, production, and editing, and should have both formal training and extensive hands-on experience. The Videographer is a storyteller who can create content using a variety of both newly produced inputs and using pre-existing footage. The Videographer is a team player who is creative, ambitious, and eager to learn and grow alongside our team.

    MEASURABLES

    • Help increase overall brand awareness by contributing work that is consistently up to brand standards via various digital medias, thus increasing leads overall into each gym. This measurable can be defined by the amount of social following growth, promotion leads, retail sales, DAM downloads, as well as the percentage to goal of the company’s annual key metri cs.

    Roles And Responsibilities

    • Produce high-quality video and photo for all headquarters-driven marketing initiatives, with a strong focus in retail and nutrition: promotional launches and advertising campaigns, Burn apparel and nutrition content, fitness content, social content, franchise development
    • Create various forms of content that can be syndicated on all Burn Boot Camp platforms, including Burn app, websites, social channels, and internal systems.
    • Execute technical pre- and post-production on all owned video, photo, and audio projects, including location scouting, technical set-up, storyboarding , , editing, and submitting content for review.
    • Produce live videos out of Burn Studios (HQ) and stream to appropriate channel(s) .
    • Ability to own video and photo projects from ideation to completion.
    • Ability to splice together B-Roll, new media techniques, and video content.
    • Stay current on video, photo, and audio trends to deliver timely and relevant input on projects
    • Assist in all content needs of the creative team, marketing, and internal departments.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years work experience in video/photo production (either at an agency or inhouse)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Experience capturing and creating retail photo and video
    • Experience shooting with Blackmagic cameras, Sony Mirrorless cameras, and various audio equipment
    • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom and Photoshop
    • Extensive knowledge of lighting, audio, and staging techniques/best practices
    • Excellent communication skills - displayed both at headquarters and on production locations
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
    • Passion for the fitness industry
    • Motion graphics a plus
    • Experience with live video production
