A bespoke, new-age Hospitality design firm is very busy creating highly stylized Hotels, Restaurants and Private Residences. This award-winning company is eager to hire an Intermediate Level FF&E Designer with 5-8 years of Hospitality experience who is also excelled in AutoCAD and has experience designing custom furniture.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience sourcing and writing thorough FF&E specs and schedules
- Develop custom FFE design intent drawings and being able to run with a heavily custom FFE package pretty independently
- Manages FF&E budget throughout project
- Experience working with custom furniture vendors to create one-of-a-kind pieces
- Reviews and approves FF&E purchase orders, coordinates final placement of FF&E installation
- Develops and reviews construction documents to determine compliance in areas of quality, code and design
- Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors
- Work closely alongside the team on development of concepts and packages for high-end Hospitality, Retail and Residential projects
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience leading numerous successful projects in high-end hospitality design with a focus on FF&E and project management
- Should be familiar with Hospitality Brand standards
- Fluency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Spexx preferred
- Ability to work under own initiative or as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure while remaining professional
- 5-8 years professional experience in Interior Design with a majority being Hospitality focused
- Understanding the priorities within each project
- Attention to detail
