Role: Technical Documentation Specialist

Location: Onsite in Norman, Oklahoma

Pay Range: $50,000 - $65,000 / year depending on experience

**Onsite requirement - Must be authorized to work in the United States now, and in the future, without assistance.

Job Description

Works with a small team to research, develop, publish, and maintain Technical Documentation while adhering to prescribed schedules and budgets accordingly. Review, validate, and create engineering / technical documentation.

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Possess technical training/education and general working level knowledge of industrial equipment systems (mechanical, electrical, electronics, electromechanical, software, and machine communications).
  • Technical/engineering documentation or publication experience. Technical writing preferred
  • Understanding of Engineering Lifecycle Management
  • Familiarity with XML authoring tools or MS Office productivity software suites
  • Familiar with CAD editing software and/or photo editing software suites
  • Experience dealing with manuals, blueprints or schematics
  • Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) would be nice to have
  • Any familiarity or exposure with industrial controls or robotics is preferred. This can be in a practical or classroom environment
  • Strong writing skills
