About the Opportunity:

FedTec seeks to hire an experienced ServiceNow Project Manager/Architect with expertise in leading and architecting ServiceNow RPA (Robotic Process Automation) projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of a ServiceNow RPA initiative, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will also be involved in designing solutions, managing resources, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient and scalable automation outcomes.

Work Location: Reston, VA (Remote)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of ServiceNow RPA projects, from project planning, initiation, and resource allocation to delivery and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop clear project plans with milestones and deliverables.
  • Architect scalable and high-performance ServiceNow RPA solutions by designing efficient automation workflows and processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow RPA modules with existing ServiceNow systems (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD) and third-party applications.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within scope.
  • Provide leadership in identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the project's success.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of RPA solutions, ensuring they meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ServiceNow developers, RPA specialists, business analysts, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage project communications, preparing regular updates and status reports for senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, methodologies, and governance in the design and implementation of RPA solutions.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews, identifying areas for improvement, lessons learned, and ensuring a smooth transition to operational support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related decisions, driving alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Baisc Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in project management with a focus on ServiceNow implementations, and 2+ years managing ServiceNow RPA projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting and managing ServiceNow projects with a deep understanding of RPA workflows, processes, and integration points.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform components including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and expertise in the RPA modules.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex ServiceNow projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and best practices.
  • Ability to assess project risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead complex technical discussions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships, procurement, and third-party integrations.

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow certifications (Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications.
  • Experience working with other automation platforms or tools beyond ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
