Description

Summary:

The Testing Room Coordinator is a committed Sacred Heart educator who is proficient in assisting the Learning Specialists with organizing and monitoring the Testing Room; oversees all day-to-day operations of the Testing Room; works with the supervisor and Learning Specialists to develop and update services, policies, and procedures in response to changing demands.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Setting up the Testing Room and ensuring the secure handling of testing materials.
  • Admitting students, maintaining security, and reporting any issues.
  • Coordinating the Testing Room’s schedule and capacity.
  • Supporting students with different learning differences in the Testing Room.
  • Coordinating testing needs and schedules with the Learning Specialists and faculty.
  • As position evolves, other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Education/Prior Experience/Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required with a focus in Special Education preferred
  • Proven competency in leveraging technology for student support and documentation
  • Experience in a PreK – 12 environments, preferably in independent schools
  • Strong references to convey teaching abilities

  • Treat parents as partners in their child's education
  • Possess strong people skills and genuine affinity for working with children and families in an educational setting
  • Willingness to work with the Learning Specialist Department and the Heads of Middle and Upper School

Upon Hiring

  • Successful completion of criminal offender record information and sexual offender registry information checks
  • Successful completion of CMG Safe Environment Training
  • Current CPR certification
