Job Description
In your role, you will
  • Act as the multidisciplinary systems engineering focal for missionized aircraft in the bid and proposal phase.
  • Act as the technical interface with the client technical/program office representatives and suppliers.
  • Responsible to engage and coordinate the supplier activities during the bidding phase.
  • Decompose internal or external customer statements of work into detailed requirements.
  • Research specifications for components selections.
  • Support development of new business opportunities through research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis, and implementation.
  • Create deliverables to support programs. This will include the development of system specifications, system architectures, designs, test requirements, and other technical documentation.
  • Support internal and external design reviews and program governance sessions.
As our ideal candidate
  • You will hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical/Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
  • You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in electrical/avionics system design or a related field.
  • Per US ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) Requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
  • You will have a working knowledge of FAA, TCCA and EASA Part 25 certification requirements
  • You must have the ability to interpret software documentation including logic diagrams
  • You will be familiar with RTCA DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254 standards
  • You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • You must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, management, and suppliers.
  • You will have experience with Commercial Derivative Military programs.
  • You will have experience in supporting Bid & Proposals.
  • You will have experience with system requirements development.
  • You must be self-motivated and be able to coordinate multiple activities and manage time effectively.
