  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Senior Big Data Engineer
Location: Remote; work in PST hrs.
Full-time/FTE/Direct Hire
Essential functions:
  • Participate in the design and development of Big Data analytical applications.
  • Design, support, and continuously enhance the project code base, continuous integration pipeline, etc.
  • Write complex ETL processes and frameworks for analytics and data management.
  • Work inside the team of industry experts on cutting-edge Big Data technologies to develop solutions for deployment at a massive scale.
Qualifications:
  • 7-10+ years of data engineering experience. ML-related experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Expert in developing large-scale end-to-end data infrastructure, including batch/streaming data pipelines & database management.
  • Expert in Python, proficient in other languages such as Scala/Java is also required.
  • Expert in Spark/Spark Streaming/Flink and experience with Hadoop or other big data processing technologies.
  • Expert in NoSQL/relational database management systems, such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or other database management systems.
  • Strong object-oriented design skills, coupled with a proven understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for requirement gathering and clarification.
  • Keen ability to lead with a high level of autonomy, versatility, and influence to drive key projects to completion.
Education:
  • PhD or Master's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
