Valor Healthcare is seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join our Recruiting team! Do you enjoy connecting with people? Are you passionate about sourcing the perfect candidate for a position? Would you like the opportunity to support our Veteran population?

As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will actively participate in the strategy and recruitment efforts of primarily our clinical operations positions (RNs, LPNs, Medical Clerks, etc). Most importantly, you will be the critical key player in the applicant experience by engaging and connecting with potential candidates. Your creativity and perseverance are critical for the difficult to fill locations.

Valor was established in 2004 and is the largest, most experienced contract provider of VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in the country. We currently operate over 50 clinics across the United States that treat more than 110,000 Veterans a year. Our clinics provide a full range of medical services that are tailored to meet the specific healthcare needs of our VA partners and the Veterans they serve.

This position will be based in our Dallas TX office and has hybrid potential once training is completed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates for current and future business needs using multiple recruiting resources (mostly clinical operations positions – RNs, LPNs, Medical Clerks, Phlebotomists, etc.)
  • Partner with hiring manager for complete understanding of position’s role and requirements.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through start date.
  • Review, evaluate and screen candidates for skill level, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements as well as for core values and culture fit.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of lead generation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a candidate base through ongoing, targeted communication and engagement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience in the healthcare industry required, with experience in staffing government contracts preferred
  • Demonstrated effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and has the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proven ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively provide valuable and timely customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and senior-level management.
  • Willingness to work outside of regular business hours as necessary to communicate with prospective candidates
  • Understanding of current federal/state regulations related to employment (i.e., EEOC, OFCCP, etc.)
  • General Human Resources knowledge and understanding of common recruiting metrics.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite; Paylocity experience a plus.
