Job Description:

Technical skills:

  • Epic System Configuration and Management: Deep understanding of the Epic platform by Applied Systems, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • User Management: Managing user access, roles, and permissions to ensure appropriate access to different features of the system.
  • Workflow Automation: Configuring and optimizing workflows to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • System Integration: Experience with integrating Epic with third-party applications such as accounting software, CRM, document management systems, etc.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Ability to generate and customize reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Data Management and Migration: Handling data imports, exports, and migration between systems; ensuring data integrity.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnosing and resolving system-related issues; providing technical support to users.
  • Security Best Practices: Ensuring system security, including managing encryption, backup protocols, and other security measures.

Administrative skills:

  • Project Management: Overseeing system implementation, migration, or upgrade projects, including planning, timelines, and resource management.
  • Training and Documentation: Providing training to end users, creating and maintaining system documentation and user guides.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identifying and implementing system improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical teams, including insurance agents and IT teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to assess and troubleshoot operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Change Management: Leading and managing change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions when new features or updates are introduced.
