Job Description

The Associate Account Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing administrative and processing tasks within Account Services to support internal and external customers. The Associate Coordinator ensures timely and accurate processing of benefit summaries, administrative changes, and contact updates to support both customer success and Delta Dental's objectives. The position works closely with Account Services Coordinators to provide administrative support, helping Account Managers strengthen customer relationships and the organization's foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a deep understanding of system configuration for customer benefits, products, and plan designs to accurately process administrative and non-rated changes, information requests, and benefit summaries.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather data for presentations or reports related to client inquiries and issues.
  • Research, resolve, and communicate solutions for customer issues using available systems and workflows.
  • Summarize and relay information from internal teams to external customers clearly and concisely.
  • Provide support for open enrollment meetings, occasionally delivering presentations at customer locations or virtually.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. eastern time and the ability to work in a hybrid model, with up to two office days per month at the either Camp Hill, PA or Alpharetta, GA location. Must reside within commuting distance to one of these locations.
  • High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience with a focus on administrative support. Sales or account management experience a plus and an insurance license may be required in certain states.
  • Experience providing direct and indirect client support.
  • Familiarity with Delta Dental and competitor products/services preferred.
  • Knowledge of Current Dental Terminology (CDT) codes and dental nomenclature is a plus.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills.
  • Proven organizational skills, including multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks, while improving existing processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $33,600 - $67,900
