Who We’re Looking For

Therabody is seeking a Director of Retail Marketing to lead the development and execution of promotional plans, pricing strategy, go to market, and in-store experience strategies across all North American Omni-channel retailers.

With a sharp customer-centric mindset, this critical role will be responsible for all promotional planning and related programs that positively impact retailer sales performance & drive demand needed to exceed Sales Targets.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and entrepreneurial thinker who can collaborate with, educate, & influence cross-functional & partner team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with financial counterparts to develop, manage, and maintain trade budgets
  • Establish and direct the development and execution of high-impact promotions across all channels and retailers
  • Perform business & competitive analysis
  • Understand consumer electronics tech trends, retailer & partner feedback, marketing/product priorities, and sales targets to create meaningful and innovative programs
  • Work with Sales Team regularly on various initiatives including design, account-specific messaging, promotions, and initiatives
  • Assist in creating Channel Strategy
  • Ensure Sales Needs including specific Channel differentiators are included throughout the Product Development cycle
  • Responsible for developing, managing, building plans within, and activating department budget to drive company omni-channel sales results
  • Work with Sales Team on standardization of financially dependent deliverables such as samples, displays, programs, that streamline go to market efficiencies

The Right Person Would Have

  • 5+ years of demonstrated business results and experience working in a multifunctional team
  • Full Omni-channel mentality, customer & merchant-centric background
  • Strong knowledge and awareness of consumer goods manufacturer dynamics, market, and competitive trends
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, creative thinker
  • Able to drive deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever-evolving environment
  • Effective communication, and organizational skills with an analytical approach to identifying opportunities
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

$110,000 - $125,000 a year

This base pay range is for the U.S. and not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, candidate’s related work experience, business sector and geographic location. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus, although incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
