Location: CBO On-Site in North Dallas/Richardson
Type: Contract-to-Hire or possibly Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $21 to $24 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday

What You'll Do

Commercial Medical Billing and Collecting

  • Use Excel Spreadsheets to communicate billing claim data to the insurance provider
  • Work through denial management with large insurance companies to maximize contracted payments
  • Upload billing files to the claims clearinghouse
  • Some coding experience is a real plus
  • Handle correspondence as necessary
  • Research and resolve medical billing issues

Commercial Medical Collector Job Requirements:

  • Two (2) to three (3) years experience working as a commercial medical collector in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to work off a medical accounts aging report
  • Past proven ability to work 40 medical claims per day
  • Strong skills working with Excel
