  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Buyer to join our team! You will be responsible for the direct purchasing of materials necessary to complete operational projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate available supply channels to increase product value and reduce production cost
  • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors
  • Establish strategies to improve supply chain, solve shortage issues, and strengthen supplier relations.
  • Obtain materials, components and equipment, as required by production needs.
  • Analyze and assess demand for production projects
  • Log and record all invoices and purchasing orders - verify data accuracy
  • Monitor inventory and storage of raw materials for manufacturing
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain, Operations or similar
  • 4+ years in purchasing, manufacturing or similar environment
  • Certifications in CPM, CPIM, or APICS is a plus
  • Strong ERP Experience - NetSuite, Oracle or similar
  • Experience selecting, analyzing, and working with vendors
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Track record of cost, inventory and lead time reduction.
