**Location - Aurora, Oregon**

**Compensation:**

- Local: $33/hour

- Non-local: $31.25/hour with $166/day per diem (Total compensation: $52/hour-56 W/O.T.)

**About the Role:**

We are seeking skilled Avionics Electricians to join our team in a dynamic MRO environment, working on firefighting and heavy lift utility helicopters. **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Maintenance & Repair:** Disassemble, repair, fabricate parts, reassemble, install, and meticulously document maintenance actions on heavy-lift helicopters, primarily focusing on Boeing CH-47 airframes (Model 107, Model 234).

- **Technical Interpretation:** Read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical data to determine feasibility and methods for assigned tasks.

- **Inspection & Cleaning:** Conduct thorough inspections and cleaning of components and aircraft wiring installations for damage and wear using visual examination and specialized tools.

- **Repair & Replacement:** Replace or repair damaged or worn components and wiring using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment.

- **Assembly:** Assemble components and wire harnesses with the same tools and equipment, ensuring precision and accuracy.

**Work Schedule:**

- Initial 5-day workweek (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

- Transition to a 4-day workweek (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM), with options for Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday shifts.

**Requirements:**

- **Experience:** 3+ years in aircraft electrical wiring and avionics repair.

- **Tools:** Must possess your own tooling.

- **Plus:** Experience with CH-47 airframes and an A&P license.
