As a Senior System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring its security, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain our system infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect system integrity.
  • Coordinate system upgrades and changes, ensuring minimal disruption and downtime.
  • Perform regular system backups and ensure effective disaster recovery procedures.
  • Implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline administrative tasks.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role.
  • Proficiency in managing and maintaining Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), are a plus.
