The Sales Consultant promotes the use of Winebow's portfolio throughout the regional markets specifically aimed at restaurant and fine wine and spirits retail sales consultancy.

Who are we looking for?

A Successful Candidate Will

  • Partner with the VP of Supply Chain Management to identify and implement the strategic vision and ensure that the organization is well positioned to support Winebow’s overall business strategy.
  • Initiate and takes the lead on projects, process redesign efforts, and provides management and training to the organization.
  • Achieve targeted service and inventory levels for their respective portfolios.
  • Develop requisite plans and processes required to adjust planning parameters necessary to ensure Winebow inventory is optimized.
  • Develop and monitor supply chain strategies required to support brand strategies, sales incentives, and market trends for respective portfolios.
  • Partner with Logistics and Operations to ensure efficient and cost effective movement of inventory.
  • Ensure resources are effectively managed and deployed to meet deadlines and commitments to all stakeholders.
  • Oversee day to day planning in support of brand strategy development and execution.
  • Leverage analytics to identify and implement improvements in process, reporting, metrics and/or best practices.
  • Regularly engages with the Sr. Leadership to align inventory, planning, purchasing, and brand strategies.
  • Assist with staffing, succession planning, and development of direct reports and the overall team.
  • Responsible for compliance with training requirements and regular coaching/assessment of direct reports.
  • Meet agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner, linking efforts to business results.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Sitting, manual dexterity, visual acuity, and occasional lifting and moving up to 30 lbs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management (planning, forecasting, procurement), Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Five years’ experience in supply chain management, inventory management, and/or purchasing.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills, and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Creative, positive, forward thinker with the ability to execute.
  • Results driven with a passion for innovation.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization, proven experience partnering with internal and external customers.
  • Experience working with Supply Chain Planning systems such as Blue Ridge, Oracle, Logility, JDA preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Business Central, Apprise preferred.
  • Experience working with BI Tools such as Diver, Business Objects preferred.
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP and/or CPSM certification preferred.
  • Experience in the wine and/or beverage industry a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Products.
