Our client is on the hunt for an exceptional sales leader to join their team as the Vice President of Sales. This role is designed for someone with a strong strategic vision and outstanding business development skills. As the VP, you will be at the forefront of driving their sales strategy and execution within the luxury residential market, managing a diverse network of independent representatives, dealers, consultants, architects, end users, developers, and other key influencers. Your leadership will be crucial in accelerating revenue growth for our comprehensive portfolio of residential solutions across the United States, Canada, and LATAM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a robust sales strategy and go-to-market plans aimed at achieving ambitious revenue growth targets across all product lines in the luxury residential sector.
  • Set and drive annual sales goals, quotas, and performance metrics for the Americas, ensuring alignment and accountability across the team.
  • Recruit, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team, including regional directors, account managers, sales engineers, and channel partners.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, consultants, and influencers to enhance collaboration and drive business growth.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and the competitive landscape to uncover opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Design and implement innovative sales processes, incentive programs, and campaigns to inspire and drive sales growth.
  • Provide executive leadership for annual sales planning, budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Present quarterly sales results, analyses, and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
  • Collaborate closely with channel marketing on brand initiatives, product launches, and lead generation efforts.
  • Work interactively with product marketing to identify emerging market trends and develop impactful go-to-market plans for new product introductions.
  • Expect significant travel to engage with regional teams and key customers/partners.

First 3 Months:

  • Immerse yourself in the company culture and operations, participating in weekly on-site events to understand the nuances of client interactions and build relationships within the team.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry landscape and client dynamics to inform your strategy.

First 6 Months:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the luxury residential market and the company's positioning within it.
  • Effectively communicate their brand story to internal teams and external clients, ensuring alignment and clarity in messaging.
  • Focus on team development, nurturing both direct reports and independent representatives while identifying new opportunities to achieve revenue targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of successful sales management and leadership experience in relevant sectors.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams, driving growth across diverse markets.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in pipeline management, sales forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative leadership style that inspires and motivates sales teams.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for both international (Canada, LATAM) and domestic engagements (50%+).
