IT Support Specialist (Short-Term Contract) Location: Easton, PA
Pay: $22/hour

Position Summary:
This role offers direct IT support to employees and clients of a global eCommerce organization, handling tasks such as PC hardware, printers, RF devices, and software builds/upgrades. Additionally, the IT Support Specialist will coordinate issue resolution with other members of the IT team to ensure efficient problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide direct IT assistance to employees and clients, ensuring timely resolution of issues related to PC hardware, printers, RF guns, and software upgrades.
  • Customer Interaction: Maintain a friendly, helpful demeanor always, ensuring a positive customer experience and meeting departmental response time goals and KPIs.
  • Documentation: Create, maintain, and read documentation related to technology and infrastructure.
  • Service Desk: Use tracking systems to monitor and manage user issues, fulfilling requests courteously and efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with IT staff to resolve technical problems and seek help when necessary to quickly resolve customer issues.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company guidelines for software use and report any illegal usage.
  • Equipment Management: Deliver, ship, and track equipment repairs; maintain accurate records of equipment location changes.
  • Communication: Notify management of any substantial delays in resolving issues and provide timely responses to help desk calls and messages.
  • Device Configuration: Configure, support, and repair desktops, monitors, printers, RF scanners, and other office and warehouse devices.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment.
  • Network Support: Assist with WIFI networking, supporting SSID, channeling, cabling, and power-related issues.
  • Systems Administration Support: Work with system administrators to support DHCP, DNS, mail, operating systems, and application configurations.
  • RF Device Troubleshooting: Handle troubleshooting of RF devices, including mobile devices, operating systems, and hardware components (e.g., batteries, triggers).
  • Escalation: Escalate critical business system issues that may impact operations.
