  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

General Purpose

Operating within the core values and operating principles of the organization, manages moderately complex application development and IT infrastructure projects. Project Managers are responsible for facilitating project lifecycle activities such as initiation, kickoff, and ceremonies such as Standup, Backlog Grooming, Retrospectives, and Story Mapping. Project tasks include estimating, planning, resourcing, budgeting, development, quality assurance, deployment, and post-production support.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage Diverse Project Teams: Oversee project teams comprising various cross-functional resources, including developers, quality analysts, business analysts, and project sponsors.
  • Define Project Schedule: Establish and maintain the project timeline.
  • Manage Project Budget, Scope, and Risk: Monitor and control project budget, scope, and associated risks.
  • Remove Impediments: Focus on delivery by removing obstacles for the project team.
  • Manage Deployment Planning and Execution: Coordinate and manage the deployment of project deliverables.
  • Provide Status Updates: Communicate project status to all levels of Project and Executive team members.
  • Scrum Master Responsibilities: Coach the project team in Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Champion Process Improvement: Lead ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate Team Empowerment and Engagement: Encourage and support team involvement and commitment.
  • Facilitate Project Ceremonies: Organize and conduct project ceremonies.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor s Degree: Business Information Systems or related field.
  • Experience: 8 years of experience in an IT Project Management role.
  • Agile Engineering Practices: Familiarity with practices such as Test-Driven Development.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the insurance industry is required.
